Hi! My name is Mrs. Abdon. I am starting my sixth year of teaching but my first year in third grade. I have previously taught kindergarten and first grade.

I grew up in a family of teachers. My mom is a 4th grade teacher and my sister is a 5th grade teacher. I went to school in Lafayette, at Glen Acres, just like you! I graduated from Jefferson High School in 2010. I went to college at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College where I majored in elementary education and minored in mathematics. My husband's name is Cody and together we have two cats, Hazel and Ruby.

In my spare time I like to work at David's Bridal as well as volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Tippecanoe County. I also enjoy reading and working out. I love to teach and I can't wait to share with you all of the exciting things third grade has to offer.
